Your skin care routine is definitely a plus, but always remember that a clear, healthy and radiant skin actually begins from within. So, consider the saying, you become what you eat. Get a pen and paper and take note of this list when you take your step to the grocery.

Start with drinking plenty of water. This is the simplest and fastest way to boost your glow. You can try adding citrus or berries to add some flavor to your still water. Two liters or about eight glasses at least a day at the minimum. Drinking water absolutely is one of the best things to keep your skin in shape. Aside from keeping your skin moist, it also makes fine lines and wrinkles less noticeable. Water flushes out toxins which will then help your cells take in more nutrients.

Citrus Fruits. Vitamin C is very evident in citrus. Get a radiant look by boosting into citrus fruits like lemons, oranges, kiwis, papayas, and grapefruits. You may also get it from vegetables like red bell peppers, tomatoes, and brussels sprouts.  Vitamin C can also protect when the sun gets tough on you. It can help undo sun damage to elastin and collagen, the structural protein which firm up your skin and keep it strong.

From C to E. The booster if skin health is Vitamin E. It is another antioxidant which can help you save your skin from inflammation and sun damage. You may get it from sources like nuts, seeds, vegetable oil, and spinach.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids. These are good fats that help make your skin's natural oil barrier, keeping away dryness and blemishes. It leaves the skin smoother and younger-looking and fight free-radical damage by reducing cellular inflammation. Stock up on salmon, herring, olive and canola oils, sardines, mackerel, flaxseeds, and walnuts. Fatty fish is a type of seafood which is also considered as a source of high-quality protein and is needed for maintaining the strength of your skin.

Green tea, an antioxidant powerhouse in a cup.  This is the closest thing to a magic potion for your skin. There are many wonders a green tea can do. It helps stop inflammation, prevent the sun from burning your skin, and helps slow down DNA damage. It is the major protector for skin aging. The catechins, a powerful compound in green tea works to improve hydration, thickness, elasticity and your overall skin health.
